There are many things to do at the resort and in the surrounding area. We offer four seasons of outdoor northwoods fun at Lost Acres. At the resort we have a playground for the kids, a swimming beach, paddleboats, a kayak, a canoe, trails to walk, a volleyball court, video games, and horseshoes. The grounds are spacious so any team activities are also possible. The Bemidji, Blackduck, and Cass Lake communities offer many fun events, festivals, shopping, and activities. See the chamber links on our home page for specific information. |

Fishing
Kitchi Lake is one of the best kept fishing secrets in northern Minnesota. The lake provides water access to all the well known lakes on the Mississippi chain, including Cass Lake. This provides thousands of acres of great fishing. Walleye, Perch, Northern, Muskie, Crappie, Bass and Panfish are abundant. |

Hunting
Our resort is located in the beautiful Chippewa National Forest which provides easy access to thousands of acres of public land for deer, grouse, and bear hunting. The abundance of wild rice on the connecting rivers is also very attractive to migrating ducks.

Snowmobiling and 4-wheeling
The area has many wonderful scenic snowmobile and 4-wheeler trails. Lost Acres is the only resort on Kitchi Lake that is open for the winter for
snowmobilers. |
|
Biking
There are several great biking trails in the area. Bemidji State Park, the Heartland Trail and the Cass Lake trail are within 20 miles of the resort. |

Fun & Local Attractions
Lost Acres celebrates the Fourth of July with fireworks and fish frys. On Labor Day the Pennington Triangle Resort Association hosts a large fishing contest and picnic for the guests of the area resorts. There are nearby casinos and great shopping in Bemidji, Walker and Park Rapids. Local celebrations occur throughout the year such as the Moondance Jam, Eel Pout festival, Fourth of July Festival, Blackduck Woodcarvers Festival, Blackduck Blues Festival, the Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival, and many arts and craft fairs. Enjoy water sports, campfires, watching the
